I never thought about how organized a laundry room can actually be. I do feel that it is almost too much organization for my house of four college men. We have the great system of everyone does their own laundry, but we all use the same detergent and softener. I know it isn't ideal but its what works. Also I feel that putting clothes such as button ups that would go to the dry cleaners in the same room as all the other dirty clothes is a great idea.

I personally didn't organize anything when I packed to move and 3 weeks later I am regretting it. Not only did it take me 8 days to unpack, but also I still have not organized the kitchen. There are about 30 cubards and I have still failed to memorize what is in them so every time I need a cup I search through every single one until I find it. I wish this would have been posted a month ago so that I could have found my can opener by now.

Great article, the meal tip was a nice touch. We advise our clients to create a quick cross-ventilation stream with fans to air out a place quickly and effectively.
