Where do you go to find reputable moving companies?

I am wondering where I can find reputable cheap moving companies labor. Tha yellowpages or the internet? Where do any of you go to look? Thanks

    When you do an online search (through say yahoo local) look at the reviews. If they’re good or bad lets you know how a company handles their customers. Make sure that no matter what you go with a company that is licensed so that you can take up matters legally if they damage something valuable.

    For cheap local movers I would try craigslist or advertisements in the back of local papers (not the big city papers). To ensure they are reputable ask for three references and call the references. Small movers may not keep references on hand. If not then you can take a risk or spend more to go with a more established company. When I moved locally, I took the risk but moved some of the more important stuff myself just to be safe. It worked out fine.
